Motion design for your YouTube channel, in your brand
By Cédric Barme · Founder of NSY
A channel intro, an ident, the lower thirds of a video or an animated brand video: NSY designs motion the way software is designed — brand guidelines, a storyboard written like a score on the music, frame-by-frame checks, and deliverables ready for YouTube, in 16:9 and 9:16.
What NSY delivers
- Channel intro and ident — your logo cut into exact pieces, animated in 3D or as strokes, with its sound signature; a brand ending that holds for the reading time.
- Lower thirds and packaging — titles, banners, end cards, corner logo, sober and varied transitions; the same language from one video to the next.
- Animated brand videos — a message, an offer or a product explained in animation: text, shapes, logo, 3D, on music cut to the bar.
- Variants — 16:9 in 1080p and 4K, 9:16 recomposed (never cropped), transparent version for overlays, audio-only WAV, loudness compliant with the platforms.
The method, no surprises
Everything starts with the brand guidelines: colours, fonts, logo, tone. The logo is never redrawn by an AI: it starts from its source file, cut into pieces, and stays exact from first to last frame. The music is decided before the animation — composed on a tempo grid, or measured when it already exists — because it sets the rhythm: every cut lands on a beat, every impact on an accent. The storyboard is written like a score, timed in bars, with the exact on-screen text, and approved before any render. A low-resolution animatic judges the rhythm; control frames are reviewed one by one; the final render follows.
Tools: Blender for 3D, mechanics and particles; an animation application for strokes, typography, light and the film; ffmpeg for delivery. All of them are driven by scripts: every video can be replayed, and a change never starts from scratch.
Where AI steps in, and where it does not
Generative AI tools serve the atmosphere — textures, smoke, dust, transitions between two shots — and the trials. They never touch the logo, the letters or the figures: what carries the brand stays exact. That is the difference between a "generated" video and motion design.
Two examples
The YouTube channel intro of PRV Concept, "Le V à 90°": 14 seconds, 4K at 60 frames per second, the association's logo in volume, an orchestral score, and for the finale the real rev-up of a V6. And the intro of the Zick'Family en camping-car channel: a line-drawn motorhome, built piece by piece, that takes a mountain road before settling into the logo — 14 seconds, music composed on a 120-beats-per-minute grid. Both are shown on the Work page.
Who it is for
YouTube channels of companies, associations, clubs and creators who want an identity in motion — with brand guidelines already in place, or to be set together.
