Dynatrace or ELK: which one to choose?
Both, because they do not see the same thing. Dynatrace watches execution — JVM, memory, CPU, network, caches, storage — and Davis, the causal AI built into Dynatrace, detects anomalies without thresholds, walks up to the root cause through the dependency map and groups events of the same cause into a single problem. How do you reduce false alerts without weakening monitoring?
By qualifying them, never by switching them off.
